Leif Michael Westmark
Leif has solid top management experience from positions as Municipal Director in Egvad Municipality and Social Director in Herning Municipality. In addition, his CV also includes positions as Head of Social Services and Head of Labor Market. He has been responsible for all municipal disciplines and has great insight into everything from interacting with politicians to managing all areas of welfare.
He also has extensive experience in development, sales and management in the IT field. He has worked as a Management Consultant, Customer Manager and Business Line Manager at KMD and as Key Account Manager and Product Owner at Edora.
During a period as an independent consultant, he has also been interim municipal director in Aulum-Haderup municipality, lecturer at Aarhus University and facilitated major development processes in municipalities.
Leif is passionate about leadership, organizational learning and development. He is particularly interested in technological development and its impact on organizations and society in a Nordic perspective. He is currently writing his Master of Business Administration thesis focusing on new forms of leadership in the public sector, and he is also running a network on new Nordic leadership.
