In this podcast, listeners are taken through the life cycle of a scandal. Claus Elmholdt, business psychologist and director of LEAD, invites Johanne Grant and Emil Herskind into the studio to talk about leadership in the different phases of scandals/bad cases that have in common that they come from within the organization and therefore potentially could have been avoided. Johanne, who is Chief Consultant at LEAD and has written a PhD on organizational scandals, covers the psychological angle on the topic, while Emil, who is Director of LEAD Impact and former Head of Department at the Ministry of Children and Social Affairs, where he was responsible for the Britta Nielsen case, takes a more organizational perspective. Among other things, you can get answers to questions about how you as a manager can prevent scandals, whether you can prepare to handle a bad case, and which risk factors or 'early warnings' you as a manager should be aware of if you want to spot a potential bad case and handle it before the scandal hits the front pages of the newspapers.
