Educational leadership

We help schools and institutions promote quality teaching, learning and well-being through proven leadership skills. We do this by supporting leaders, team coordinators and teams to strengthen the factors that influence children's learning, well-being and social development.

Our approach to educational leadership

Examples of educational leadership services are:

  • Workshops and consulting on student-centered management, including the use of data and working with professional learning
  • From teams to professional learning communities - how do we succeed in this movement?
  • Distributed leadership - how do you help team coordinators and supervisors "get off the ground"?

When working with schools and daycare centers, we are inspired by a wide range of approaches, especially:

  • Learner-centered leadership that focuses on the importance of the leader's commitment to staff learning and development for their ability to support children's learning
  • Systemic, appreciative and narrative approach
  • Educational leadership based on research collected by eva.dk, EMU.dk and others
  • Collaboration in the management chain and clarity on each function's responsibilities and required competencies.

"Our collaboration with LEAD started almost four years ago, helping us establish learning groups as part of the development of our new management foundation and LUS concept. The collaboration is rewarding for us - we are constantly being challenged. We can see that both managers and employees have started to use each other more, because they know each other's competencies and are open about their strengths and areas for development. They work better together as a team, and that's one of the things that has really made a difference."

"LEAD has helped us strengthen collaboration in management by providing us with valuable models and tools as well as a common language to talk about how we should lead together. One of the things we all remember and got a lot out of was the shadow pairings. We were followed for a whole day and received feedback and sparring on our own personal leadership practice, which was really valuable."
