The Management Commission's recommendations in practice

You're probably familiar with the Leadership Commission's recommendations - but what do they mean for you and your organization? And where do you need to take action to develop your organization?

Based on our many years of experience in public management combined with deep insight into the recommendations, we help you identify what is of particular interest to you and how to get started.

Workshop - from recommendations to practice

We tailor and facilitate workshops that, based on your needs and challenges, create a framework for discussing and putting the recommendations of the Leadership Commission into practice. The starting point will typically be:

  • What are the main messages of the Leadership Commission's recommendations? A perspective presentation that relates the recommendations to your practice.
  • What does it mean to you? What are the most important messages with the greatest development potential in relation to your core mission?
  • What are you going to do about it? We zoom in and formulate concrete initiatives and actions that develop the organization.

Workshops can be designed in any format from a half-day inspiration session to longer integrated strategy development and implementation processes, depending on your needs and wishes. Workshops can be created for a single director or manager group and for entire organizations, administrations, institutions or units.

More about the management commission's recommendations

The public sector must constantly adapt and improve. Public sector leaders must be able to hold on to the classic virtues and safe operations, while at the same time influencing development and finding new ways of public authority, service and collaboration. This is the need now and in the future - and the starting point for the Leadership Commission's recommendations. The recommendations are centered around seven themes that public sector leaders should work with:

  • Put the citizen at the center
  • Politicians need to trust management
  • The collaboration system must be simplified
  • Managers must lead operations and the development of operations
  • Leaders must set the direction
  • Leaders must set the team
  • Leaders need to evolve
