The following excerpts are from the review:
"This review of selected research and practice-oriented literature provides an overview of the field of learning and resilience with the aim of shedding light on how to work at the individual, organizational and societal levels to strengthen resilience and create conditions for learning in the wake of significant crises. We begin by exploring resilience at the societal, organizational and individual levels. Each of these levels represents concrete levels of action for strengthening resilience and different research traditions. At the same time, it is important to note that the ability of organizations to learn is in many ways a meta-competency (or the glue that binds it all together) in any resilience effort. Therefore, we dedicate the final section of this review to a separate focus on research on the ability of organizations to act as learners in, during and after crises and to consider how to create well-considered learning designs."
