Christian is one of the country's leading consultants working with mission, vision, values and strategies in public organizations. He is often used as a trusted advisor when organizations initiate strategic organizational development processes to develop mission, vision, values and strategies.

Christian is also a highly experienced trainer. In particular, he teaches vision management, value-based management, strategic management, purpose-driven management, change management, distributed leadership, employee motivation and management paradigms in the public sector. He is present in his communication and has a special ability to speak directly into the context he is in.

Alongside his employment as a partner at LEAD, Christian is the author of several critically acclaimed management books. These include Is there anyone at home in the strategy house? (2023), Visionsledelse (2021) and Distributed leadership in the public sector (2020). In addition, he is a regular columnist at Mandag Morgen, where he regularly writes about new perspectives on leadership.

Christian has previously been employed at the research center Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Management at Aarhus University, which has contributed to his massive knowledge of effective leadership and organizational development. In addition, he has also been the network leader for the network Rethinking Public Strategy - a network for public directors and managers.

In 2023, Christian was named one of the 100 greatest talents in Danish business in the Berlingske Talent 100. He is also a member of the Danish Business Talent Network for the consulting industry.

He holds a degree in political science with a specialization in public management from Aarhus University. In addition, he has taken various courses in project management and process consulting.

Christian has contributed significantly to Middelfart Municipality's work to bring the vision "From Middelfart Child to World Citizen" to life. Charlotte Ørbæk, section manager for primary schools in Silkeborg municipality

Over the past year, Christian has contributed to a development program aimed at all 100 managers in the school system in Silkeborg Municipality. The purpose of the program has been twofold. Firstly, the course has supported the managers' individual competence development, where Christian has taught the managers in purpose-driven leadership, vision leadership, value-based leadership and strategic leadership. We have experienced him as a very competent teacher with a high level of theoretical expertise, very strong communication skills and a very special ability to link theory to the daily lives of school leaders and thereby make the teaching present and relevant. Secondly, the course was designed to support the strategic development of the overall school system and the 26 associated schools. Here, Christian has facilitated the processes that have resulted in a shared mission, vision and values for the school area. Over the past six months, the management team in the Social Psychiatry area has been working on developing a common management foundation. A work with the participation of all managers, which has been organized and facilitated by and in close collaboration with Christian Nyvang Qvick.

Christian has, with professional presentations within various management disciplines and with the involvement of subject-specific specialists, managed to set an agenda and create a focus that has formed the basis for individual and group-based reflections, which have formed the basis for the development of a common management foundation.  

Christian has managed to both inspire and motivate our development work on formulating a common management foundation, which has been done with a relevant theoretical starting point spiced with concrete practical experience. A combination that has made the content and process relevant and rewarding for the participants.

Christian's communication creates a high degree of dynamism among the participants and further curiosity about both the applied theory and the managers' own leadership practice.

The overall leadership development process and the final leadership foundation must now stand the test of time. A test we are looking forward to with the conviction that we will succeed in making it clear in our daily management activities, which is not least due to the final workshop days in the development process, focusing on what a successful implementation of a management framework requires. Also at these workshops, Christian - based on theory and practical experience from similar consulting assignments - has managed to create an insight into various pitfalls in implementation processes, but has also pointed out ways to anchor the management foundation.
