This month's edition of LEAD Insights is for your summer vacation. We want to make sure you have good books for those pleasant summer moments and bright nights.

We have selected the following four books:

• "Public Leadership Pipeline" by Kristian Dahl and Thor Molly-Søholm. In the book, we move into the heart of public management with a focus on the management levels: top manager, manager, manager of managers and managers of employees. The book provides extensive knowledge about: a) what characterises public managers who succeed – and managers who do not, b) which mechanisms make the managerial career run by language – and which ones make the career take off, c) how the public organisation can best support the right management at the individual management levels and develop leadership talents.
