LEAD uses the Effect Profile—a research-based model—as a foundation for helping organizations create effective leadership teams. This method draws on recent research that highlights how strong teams support robust decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and productivity improvements.

What is the Effect Profile?

The Effect Profile is a research-based assessment tool measuring both the quality of a leadership team’s results and how it functions as a group. It examines 27 different factors across three categories: input factors, process factors, and output factors.

How does LEAD use the Effect Profile?

LEAD follows these steps when applying the Effect Profile:

  1. Analysis: Using an online questionnaire completed by all team members, we gather comprehensive data— providing deep insight into where the group across all 27 factors.

     

  2. Overview: Based on questionnaire results, we map out the team’s strengths and weaknesses in relation to input, process, and output factors.

     

  3. Development plan: With a detailed understanding of current status, we develop a tailored plan addressing areas needing improvement while leveraging existing strengths.

     

  4. Implementation & follow-up: We assist in executing the development plan—and provide ongoing support to ensure improvements are sustained as the team continues to evolve.
