Leif Michael Westmark

Leif brings solid top-executive experience from roles as Municipal and Municipal Director of Social Services. His resume also includes positions as Head of Social Services and Head of Employment Services. He has held responsibility within all municipal service areas and possesses deep insight into everything from political collaboration to the leadership of all welfare areas. 

In addition, Leif has extensive experience in development, sales, and leadership within the IT sector. Among other roles, he has worked as a management consultant, client director, and business line manager at KMD, as well as Key Account Manager and Product Owner at Edora. 

During a period as an independent consultant, he also served as interim Municipal Director, taught at Aarhus University, and facilitated major development processes in municipalities. 

Leif is passionate about leadership, organizational learning, and development. He has a particular interest in technological advancement and its impact on organizations and society from a Nordic perspective. He is currently writing his master’s thesis as part of an MBA-programme, focusing on new forms of leadership in the public sector, and he also runs a network dedicated to New Nordic Leadership.
