Emma Holmgaard
Emma Holmgaard is employed by LEAD as a project consultant based in the Copenhagen office. She works in the leadership and well-being area, supporting consultants with administrative and professional tasks in management and organizational development. In addition, she is part of the staff, supporting internal development and management, and contributing to the community and social events prioritized by LEAD.
Every day, Emma studies for a master’s degree in psychology at Aarhus University. Here she acquires a broad theoretical knowledge in work and organizational psychology, which she will have the opportunity to explore further and transform into practice in collaboration with consultants and clients in LEAD.
Emma has written her thesis on leadership and emotions, with a special focus on emotional intelligence and authentic leadership, as well as on how professional demands are challenged in a working life where emotions must have their place. In addition, through previous support for the preparation of Rasmus Thy Grøn’s industrial PhD, Emma has gained specialized knowledge and experience in organizational and leadership development, as well as in growth mindset, psychological safety, and organizational learning.
Previously, Emma has worked with labor market-oriented psychological examinations, which is why she has practical knowledge of and an interest in the influence of personality on the labor market, including its impact on individuals’ well-being and participation across different group constellations.
