Dorthe Jensen

Dorthe is a highly experienced consultant and manager who has completed numerous projects in both the private and public sectors. Her interests include leadership, organizational design, change management, program and project management, and the people who are essential to success. She has been a manager for more than 15 years – and has led both employees and managers. She therefore knows what it means to deliver results in a politically led organization and to develop a private company, as a partner at Peak Consulting, emagine, and LEAD.

She has tried most roles in the project world, both as chairman of the steering committee and as a program and project manager. Here, she has brought projects safely to the finish line while preparing the organization for the necessary change to realize the benefits of a project.

Dorthe believes that good collaboration and a focus on the community are prerequisites for success as both a leader and an employee.  And then it is crucial for Dorthe that there is a balance between creating results by letting the task “be the king” and ensuring it is fun, while also developing a sense of going to work.

Dorthe advises, teaches, conducts workshops, gives presentations, facilitates, and often serves as an interim program or project manager on complex projects.

She holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Roskilde University. She has previously been interim manager at HOFOR, partner at Peak Consulting and emagine, consultant at Implement Consulting, and head of office at the National Board of Social Services.
