Betina Hansen

Betina has over 15 years of experience creating sustainable change in both private and public organizations. She has broad expertise as a DEI and leadership consultant, speaker, facilitator, coach, and team leader. Previously, she held strategic responsibility for the DEI agenda at Danske Bank as Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, and she has also worked for several years as an HR and learning consultant. 

At LEAD, Betina serves as a Chief Consultant anchored in the business area of culture, society, and global challenges where she is the specialist responsible for the DEI area. 

Betina’s educational background in organizational psychology provides her with a unique approach to DEI shaped by the dynamics between the individual and the organization. She bases her consulting on research and her own leadership experiences. Her approach challenges formal and informal organizational structures to foster greater diversity and inclusion. She is attentive to how both majority and marginalized groups thrive within an organizational context and how individual leaders can practice inclusive leadership.

Betina Dam Hansen is a Chief Consultant at LEAD with over 15 years of experience advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and sustainable organizational change in both public and private sectors. Her work aligns closely with the United Nations’ values and priorities, particularly in promoting inclusive leadership, gender equality, and sustainable organizational transformation. 

Betina has held strategic responsibility for large-scale DEI agendas, most notably as Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Danske Bank, where she led initiatives to foster inclusive cultures and equitable structures. She also brings extensive experience as an HR and learning consultant, supporting organizations in building capacity for systemic change. 

At LEAD, Betina serves as Chief Consultant within the area of Culture, society, and global challenges, where she leads on DEI strategy for international clients, including multilateral organizations. Her educational background in organizational psychology enables her to approach DEI from both individual and systemic perspectives, ensuring that interventions are research-based and contextually grounded.
